Ssi-ruuvi Imperium
One of the first threats faced by the galaxy following the death of Emperor Palpatine, the Ssi-ruuk are a saurian species which use large-scale slavery of conquered peoples in the process known as entechment, which converts the life force of the victim into energy for Ssi-ruuk technology. Led by an Elder's Council made up of political leaders and a Conclave made up of religious leaders who elect their chosen leader, the Shreeftut; they revealed themselves to the galaxy by attempting to invade Bakura, but were beaten back by the Rebel Alliance. Since then, they have waged war with the Vagaari and Chiss. They have recently come under the influence of a Yuuzhan Vong agent, who has whipped the Ssi-ruuk into a war frenzy before mysteriously dying. Now, ready to wreck havoc on the galaxy, the Ssi-ruuk await for their moment.
