Mandalorian Protectors
Founded during the Clone Wars following the removal of the New Mandalorians in the ?, the Mandalorian Protectors fought for the Separatist in the Clone Wars. Following their devastation at the hands of the Republic, later the Empire subjugated Mandalorian space, brutally oppressing the warriors and enslaving them. Shortly before the Battle of Endor Princess Leia led by the surviving Mandalorian Protectos in throwing the Empire off of Mandalore, following which the Mandalorian Protectors reformed and proceeded to liberate all of Mandalorian Space. They proceeded to become valuable shock troops to the New Republic's campaigns, but have since become neutral once more following the truce between the New Republic and Imperial Remnant. Now the Mandalorians face a crises of identity and faith; with many believing they should continue to be allied with the New Republic, many believing they should remain independent and neutral, some believing they should wage war against the Remnant, and some even advocating for allying with the Remnant.
