Once the personal fleet of the Empire's Military Executor, Lord Vader, the Death Squadron was originally founded to hunt down and destroy the headquarters of the Rebel Alliance, a task it technically succeeded in at the Battle of Hoth. It has largely fallen into obscurity since it's devastating defeat at Endor. It was largely assigned to the defense of the Core Worlds and was assigned to the protection of Bastion as it moved throughout the galaxy until the current Bastion was settled. Following the settlement of Bastion, it has begun the slow transition into an offensive unit once more and is now ready to wage war for the Remnant.
