Republican Guard
The Republican Guard is a federal surface military force taken from the best of the Forces Command and Sector Forces Command, and specifically trained to assist both the New Republic Security Force and the New Jedi Order when needed. They currently serve also as a praetorian unit of key government members and facilities, and in the place of the deactivated Forces Command when necessary.
