• The Yuuzhan Vong suffer the breakout of a plague which eventually liquefies Yuzhan Vong and their biotechnology. It is transmitted across all vectors, including through villips, leading to the infection of the entire species. All agents in the galaxy, including Nom Anor, E'thinaa, and the Praeortite Vong die from the infection along with the Yuuzhan Vong at the edge of the galaxy.
• With the death of his captors, A'Sharad Hett escapes the Yuuzhan Vong and completes his Sith training on Korriban at the hands of the spirit of XoXaan. He becomes Darth Krayt and founds the One Sith.
• Vergere, seeing her plot of using the Yuuzhan Vong disintegrate, returns to the Galaxy and to her apprentice, Lumiya. The two reform the Order of the Sith Lords.
• The Empire of the Hand begins to lose control of its territory to the Vaagari and the Chiss.
• The Galactic Standard Calendar is established, using the Battle of Yavin as its epoch.
• Grievous enters the pantheon of the religion of the Kaleesh.
