• The Hundred-Year Darkness begins, as a result of the Second Great Schism, between the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic against the rebellious Dark Jedi.
• The Taung are led from Roon, where they settled following their ejection from Notron, to a new homeworld by Mandalore the First, which is named Mandalore in his honor.
• The next several centuries mark an increase in territory and diversity of the Galactic Republic.

6,900 BBY
• The Hundred-Year Darkness is ended, with the surviving Dark Jedi stripped of their weaponry and exiled to uncharted space.
• The Exiles arrive on Korriban. They attempt to subjugate the Sith species, only to meet resistance. The superior training and technology of the Exiles amazed the Sith and they were elevated to god-like status, assuming rule over the Sith species marking the beginning of the Sith Empire and the Sith Order.

5,500 BBY
• The Rimma Trade Route is mapped by Tapani and Sullustan merchants.

5,100 BBY
• Marka Ragnos ascends as Dark Lord of the Sith.
• Sith Lord Vitiate, previously known as Tenebrae, successfully becomes ruler of Medriaas, which he renames Nathema.

5,010 BBY
• The rule of Teta begins on Koros Major. The planet, and its system, will later become known as Empress Teta in honor of the Empress.

5,000 BBY
• The Unification Wars come to an end the Koros system, being united by Empress Teta.
• Marka Ragnos dies, leading to a conflict between Ludo Kressh and Naga Sadow, with Sadow ultimately victorious as the next Dark Lord of the Sith.
• Gav and Jori Daragon discover the Sith.
