• The Corellians and Duros independently develop the first non-Force driven hyperdrive, shortly after the founding of the Galactic Republic, marking the beginning of what is known as the Expansion Era.

• The Perlemian Trade Route is founded, linking the Galactic Republic with the Tion Cluster.
• The Corellian Run is mapped, providing a basis for Corellian economic domination for millenia.
• The Republic makes contact with the Jedi Order, now on Ossus and continuing their study of Ashla as well as incorporating and assimilating other complementary Force traditions. Jedi Master Huane Tiar returned to the Republic with their scouts and pledges the Jedi to the Republic's service.
• The Duros colonize several worlds, among which is Neimoidia.

• Xendor and the Legions of Lettow fall to the Dark Side of the Force and begin the First Great Schism, marking the first conflict between Force users since the Force War. The conflict ends with the complete extermination of the Xendor's followers, with exception to one, Arden Lyn, who is placed in stasis.

• The Tionese War begins with a Tionese invasion of Republic space, enabled by reverse-engineered Republic technology that initially gives them the advantage.

• The Tionese War is ended when the Republic and the Jedi, and their reluctant allies the Hutts, defeat the Honorable Union of Desevro & Tion. Desevro is devestated by the Republic despite its attempts to surrender resulting in it being the only world to not join the Republic.
• As a result of the Republic's fanatical prosecution of the Tionese War, the Jedi break away from the Republic for a time before agreeing to defend its outer territories. Leaders among the Core Worlds regard a central military as a threat to their stability, resulting in a down-sized military and a localized defense policy.

• Ilum is discovered by the Jedi.

• The Inner Rim and Colonies are largely settled by the Republic by this time.

• Metellos forges a new hyperroute to connect it and other western Core Worlds to Coruscant.
