"I am a living weapon for the New Republic. A sword for the New Jedi Order. I will protect and defend those who can not do so themselves, and I will vanquish all injustice and evil present in the Galaxy. I will accomplish this task through any means necessary. It is what my life is, and there is no way for me to deviate from that path. Combat is my profession, and it is in deep conflict with the Jedi way. My father would be ashamed..."

Personality: An atypical Jedi, he is first and foremost, a soldier. He is willing to do whatever it takes to complete his mission and serve his purpose. He seeks to become a living weapon, maintaining both peak physical and mental fitness, and constantly trains in all martial matters, including several martial arts; specifically, Tae-Jitsu, Tal-gun, Teelar, Sera Plinck, K'tara, Hijkata, Echani, Broken Gate, Teräs Käsi, Stava, Jeswandi, and Rek'dul, utilizing a hybrid system that incorporates traits of all styles. Much like his martial arts, he utilizes a lightsaber form that incorporates all of the styles that are known to him. Being a personally appointed Jedi Commando, he is often used as such by his superiors gleefully, still remaining an active operative of the NRIS. He lives by the belief that the strong should protect the weak, and those able should defend those who can not defend themselves; and it is from this basis that he chafes under the imposed peace between the Imperial Remnant, which he believes should be wiped from galactic history, and the New Republic, which he serves as a patriot.

Background: Born during the birth of the Galactic Empire, he is the unrecognized child of Jedi Master Vernon Daine, who was killed during the Clone Wars, and Winter Locke, a CorSec detective. His mother knew the identity of his father, and gave him his name, but personally left him without the knowledge of him. He grew up without knowing of his ancestry, and was any typical Corellian child. He was resistant to the pro-Imperial pressure applied to every child while growing up, as his mother made sure to keep him well informed, and he refused to join the Sub-Adult Group. This left him ostracized by many of his peers, but he was seen as a leader by those children like him, who he often protected by using his dominant physical size of the time, against the SAG members who would often bully non-members.

At the age of sixteen, he enlisted into CorSec, finding great aptitude in unarmed combat and marksmanship. He was quickly moved into the Tactical Response Team, where he became a well-known operator to his superiors. A year into his job, the Corellian Treaty was signed and rebellion was officially declared across the galaxy. While he had followed the various resistance groups of the galaxy since he was a child, he was surprised by the unification of the major factions into the new Rebel Alliance, and became inspired. This inspiration would finally be put into action when one day, his team was ordered to fire into a crowd of protesters by Moff Vorru. That night, he formed his own resistance group... known as the Sand Panthers. In his public life, he dealt with his real, private guilt over the incident, and eventually resigned from the Tactical Response Team only to become a detective.

He decided his days as a Rebel were to make a splash, and he needed a big event to draw in volunteers, for his days were numbered if he remained a one-man army. Thus, he proceeded to plan and successfully execute the public assassination of Diktat Dupree, during which he ensured his group's name was made public. Within a week, he was rewarded with both fifty recruits and the assingment to track down himself. After a year, and several notable, successful battles, and an increase to one hundred personnel, his group was recruited by the Rebel Alliance and made a Special Ops Team. After a successful bombing of the shipyards, now occupied by the Empire, suspicion was raised of him, and the ISB began looking into him as a CorSec detective. It was soon discovered who he really was, and an ambush was set for his group. He and only five others out of three hundred made it out alive. They proceeded to wage a war of vengeance upon all of the allies who betrayed them, and upon the ISB itself. After all who were involved in the ambush were dead, they fled the planet. With Imperial pressure to high, and himself now being the most wanted man in the Corellian sector, he joined the Corellian Sector Force, becoming part of the regular Alliance Army. He served under Garm Bel Iblis until, in the aftermath of Yavin, he split away from the Alliance. While Bel Iblis was a Corellian, and a great Resistance leader, he was not the great soldier or general he made himself out to be, and he felt more loyalty to the Alliance itself rather than one man. Thus, he chose to leave Bel Iblis' movement, and remained with the Rebel Alliance, being awarded for his loyalty with a promotion to Sergeant, having previously been a Corporal since joining the Corellian Sector Force, and an invitation to Special Forces selection.

While the toughest experience of his life thus far, he excelled during selection, and was consistently one of the top ranking candidates in his class. He would pass selection, and under go Wilderness Fighter specialization, due to his outstanding adaptability and natural combat instincts. After the completion of his training, he was part of one of the Alliance's many expedition teams searching for a new base. In one of his earliest missions, he would be assigned to the task force which scouted the planet Hoth and later provided escort duty to the engineers who established Echo Base. He would remain assigned to the base, as part of its defensive unit. While a nice reprieve from the constant fighting he had known for the past four years, it was a dull and uneventful year.

His boredom would change into a personal journey through Hell itself as he participated in the Battle of Hoth. At first assigned to Outpost Beta, he fended off one of the early Imperial assaults upon the base. Once the Imperial attack was repulsed, he was one of many volunteers who shifted over to the main lines to fight off the brunt of the Imperial advance, as several of the outposts were destroyed. The effort was futile, however, as the Imperial still achieved their objective of destroyed the power generator. He was then part of a mass retreat into Echo Base, where he proceeded to fight off the Snowtroopers attempting to enter the base, before pushed to one of the hangars, where he was forced to retreat. He evacuated from Hoth on the Thon's Orchard, and made it out without major injury. Following the battle, he would be promoted to Lieutenant, and later took part in Taryn Farr's mission to recover high-level personnel left behind on Hoth. Following that mission, he was shifted into the Pathfinder specialization. His first mission following training was as part of Crix Madine's personal commando unit on Kothlis, recovering the cargo of the Corvette Razor.

He remained as part of Madine's unit until the Battle of Endor, where he was selected for the Endor strike team. While making camp the night before the battle, on a dare, more so challenge, by Nik Sant, he drank unfiltered water from a nearby spring. This was a mistake, as the next day he was stricken with dysentery, while Sant was perfectly fine. Fighting off his illness was difficult during the battle, but it did actually prevent him from getting captured during the storming of the bunker. Participating in the later battle, he was taking care of his illness and became lost in the forest, unable to relocate the battle. When the team departed the moon, unable to find him as his tracker and comm unit had been damaged in the fighting, to capture the Star Destroyer Accuser, he was marooned. Finding himself stranded, and unable to find any of their Ewok allies, he attempted to use his survival training to navigate the forest and locate the Ewok village. He failed, having difficulty due to the height of the trees in the area, and was stranded for several weeks.

Overcoming his illness on his own, he soon ran into a fellow stranded soldier; a scout trooper. After 45 minutes of fighting ending in a draw, he agreed to a truce with the Scout Trooper, who he dubbed "Egg Man" for his shaven head and refusal to tell him his name in defiance to his own refusal. They talked about the battle, and their respective strategies, before running into an Ewok trap. The Ewoks who eventually return to the trap, release him, but take the Scout Trooper captive. He is eventually able to free the Scout Trooper, who helps him return to the Shield Generator bunker; finding that they had in fact been victorious in the battle. Later, the duo would happen upon a crashed Star Destroyer, and he would use a navigation beacon to call to a passing freighter for a ride off the moon. When the freighter arrived, the Scout Trooper refused to come with him, agreeing his earlier statement that the Imperial had no place in a peaceful society.

Once he rejoined the Alliance, he found it no longer existed. Instead, it was now the New Republic, and campaigning to take the galactic capital. His team, now known as the Katarn Commandos, were unavailable for him to rejoin, so he was reassigned to Commando Team One, being promoted to Captain in the process. He would serve with the team for six years, until after the defeat of Operation Shadow Hand, the he was promoted to Major and joined the New Republic Intelligence Service, becoming a clandestine operative. It was during this time in his life that his idealism, the young, liberal Rebel that told a Scout Trooper that he didn't belong in a peaceful society, died. Atrocity after atrocity was not stopped by this peaceful society, and he found that it required man willing and capable of doing whatever it took to protect that peaceful society. In a way, he felt the Scout Trooper he met on Endor was vindicated in this realization.

A year after joining the NRIS, he was discovered to be Force sensitive, and joined the second class of apprentices at the Jedi Praxeum. Taking after the training quickly, taking leave from the NRIS so he could dedicate himself fully to training, and two years later, he was Knighted by Master Skywalker. As a Knight, and now having independence, he sought to learn the traditional roles of a Jedi Guardian and Jedi Weaponmaster; as well as the training undertook by the ARC Troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic. During this time, he also fought against the Empire Reborn and the Disciples of Ragnos, taking on an apprentice during the Disciple of Ragnos Crisis, named Zerrid Webb. He took a very military approached to the training of his apprentice, much to the chagrin of many of the Jedi, but the results spoke for themselves when his apprentice was knighted the next year.

He returned to service in the NRIS in time for the Black Fleet Crisis, having been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel upon his return, serving with the Fifth Battle Group. He was at the disastrous Battle of Doornik-319, where he was to report on Yevethan surface combat tactics and strategy, as well as gain sentient intelligence. He would finally be able to accomplish this after the Battle of ILC-905. Following the climatic Battle of N'zoth, he strongly advocated for the disarmament of the Yevetha, which was carried out. Following the campaign, he was promoted to Colonel. He assisted in the Almanian Uprising in tracking the perpetrator of the bombings, and following the Battle of Almania, he coordinated the occupation of the planet. His advocacy for the installation of a military government over the world was rejected. He was then sent into Remnant space to sabotage Imperial efforts to make a push against the New Republic. Following the defeat of the Remnant at Anx Minor, his mission continued, in an effort to keep the Remnant from making another offensive.

He was recalled however, during the Corellian Insurrection. He was sent into the Corellian Sector to disrupt the operations of the Sacorrian Triad, and led the all-Corellian NRIS team assigned to accomplish this task. After the conclusion of the crisis, he was quickly sent to Bothawui, part of a general New Republic surface contingent sent there to aid in the protection of the Bothans during the Caamas Document Crisis. Following the achievement of peace with the Remnant, which he strongly disagreed with, he took leave from both the NRIS and the New Jedi Order so that he could freely travel the galaxy, seeking to hone his skills.

Shortly into his journey, he was embarrassingly shot down by pirates over the world of Yanibar. His ship was too badly damaged to leave the planet, and he was unable to communicate offworld. He found the locals unwilling to help him, or even communicate with him for that matter. While frustrating, he found it to be a major lesson in patience, and slowly worked his way into local society. Eventually, he was now only treated as an equal by the locals, but able to join the Zeison Sha, given the rank of Initiate. He was able to receive training from one of their Masters, despite his status as a Jedi, perfecting his telekinetic abilities and learning Discblade combat. He was granted the rank of Warrior after two years, and finally able to repair his ship. He later came upon a Matukai Instructor, who took him as his Apprentice. After two years of the most intense training he had ever been in, he was awarded the rank of Matukai Adept. As with Matukai tradition, he received the Matukai tattoo. During his travels, he discovered the identity of his father, and felt a certain pride that he was following the path of the Jedi like his father, but also disappointed that he was so different from the Force Warrior and Jedi Diplomat. He recovered his father's lightsaber, which he now carries, as well as what was left of his Jedi robes, which he incorporated into his own traditional robes, and found himself spending much of his time when not training during his journey contemplating the differences between himself and his father.

Following his training, and having mastered the known ways of the Jedi Guardian and Jedi Battlemaster, in addition to his Zeison Sha and Matukai training, he returned to the New Jedi Order, far more powerful than he had been before, bringing new insights and training for the Order as well as a new maturity. He was rewarded with promotion to Jedi Master by Master Skywalker, and proceeded to become a combat instructor for the Order, serving as the head lightsaber combat instructor for the Junior Jedi Academy. After a year, however, he still felt the need to serve the New Republic, and rejoined the NRIS as a Special Operative, retaining his rank of Colonel, and becoming a member of Alpha Blue. He currently splits his time between the NRI as a member of the top secret Alpha Blue and the New Jedi Order as a Lightsaber Combat Instructor, often operating directly from Yavin IV.
